We believe that Jesus Christ is the only source of true knowledge. We are committed to using this enrichment program to point young people to Jesus through the study of the arts, physical education, and humanities.
Our homeschool co-op is designed to complement and empower your home education by offering vibrant, hands-on learning experiences that are hard to replicate around the kitchen table.
From collaborative music classes and active Colorado-inspired physical education to creative studio arts and engaging STEM projects — like building and testing catapults — we bring big-picture learning to life. Grounded in the truth of Jesus Christ and open to all families, our classes offer a welcoming community where your children can build skills, forge deep friendships, and discover the beauty of God’s world together.
2026 Co-Op Activities
Four class tracks, each taught in two age groups

Parents stay and grow, too
Our co-op is a collaborative, non-drop-off program — Colorado law and our mission both call for it. At least one parent or adult guardian stays on the property while your children are in class, serving in an assigned volunteer role.
Roles include Lead Teacher, Classroom Assistant, Hallway Monitor, and Facilities Crew. When you are not on a shift, the cafeteria is our parent lounge.

Pay through the Church Center app, or by check made out to Franktown Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Tuition and material fees cover supplies purchased in bulk for the full quarter and are non-refundable. If a student withdraws, all remaining supplies and project kits go home with the family so the work can be finished there.
Field trips are not included in tuition and may carry an additional cost, always announced at least two weeks ahead.

Do parents stay during co-op?
Yes — drop-offs are not permitted. At least one parent or adult guardian remains on the property, serving in an assigned volunteer role such as Lead Teacher, Classroom Assistant, Hallway Monitor, or Facilities Crew. You keep primary care of your children throughout the day, and the cafeteria is set aside as a parent lounge between shifts.
Do we need to be church members to join?
No. Our classes are grounded in the truth of Jesus Christ and open to all families. You are welcome here whatever your church background.
When does co-op meet?
We meet on Wednesdays, 9:30 AM to 2:15 PM — worship, class blocks, and lunch & recess together. Ages 4–8 finish after Block 2; Block 3 is for ages 9 and up. The 2026–2027 year runs 24 weeks in four six-week sessions, beginning September 16.
What ages are welcome?
Every class is offered in two age groups — ages 4–8 and ages 9 and up — so activities stay developmentally appropriate. Students meet their group’s age by September 1. Younger siblings are welcome to stay with their parent as long as class isn’t disrupted, or to join the nursery.
How do we register?
Registration is handled through Church Center. Families submit a registration form, a signed copy of the Student Handbook (including the parental participation and tuition agreements), and a general liability release. Use any Register button on this page, or email us and we will walk you through it.
Are there grades, homework, or attendance rules?
No. We are an enrichment community: no grades, no mandatory homework, and no minimum attendance. Missing a week never affects your standing — we simply ask for a courtesy note to the teacher, since supplies and project kits are prepared in advance.
What should students bring?
A packed lunch, a reusable water bottle, closed-toe shoes for PE, and any basic supplies the teacher requests. Please leave phones and other devices with parents. Dress is simple, neat, and modest; vegetarian lunches are encouraged.
What happens in bad weather?
If we cancel co-op for weather, we send a text alert. If road conditions worry you on any given day, use your discretion and stay home — just let the co-op coordinator know by 9:00 AM.
