Franktown Church

Where Faith Becomes a Journey, Not a Performance

Franktown Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-grounded community where people from every background can explore faith at their own pace. This is a place for the curious, the committed, the returning, the questioning, and the hopeful.

Following Jesus isn’t just a Sabbath routine. It’s a daily rhythm of worship, learning, community, and connection with God. Our church exists to walk with you through that journey with honesty, warmth, and a deep respect for Scripture.

A Church That Lives Beyond Saturday

Franktown is more than a weekly gathering. It’s a movement shaped by prayer, service, genuine relationships, and a shared desire to grow into the people God created us to be. You’ll find a community that is open, authentic, and unafraid to ask big questions together.

We don’t pretend to have every answer. Instead, we open the Bible, lean into the Holy Spirit, and explore truth as a church family. Like the Bereans, we want to search Scripture thoughtfully and encourage one another along the way.

Believing. Belonging. Becoming.

These three words describe the heartbeat of who we are.

Believing — Growing in a Living Relationship with Jesus

Faith begins with trust. With Scripture. With the transforming presence of Jesus shaping our everyday lives. At Franktown, believing is not about checking boxes. It’s about discovering who Jesus is and allowing His grace to change us deeply.

Belonging — Finding Your People and Your Purpose

You weren’t meant to walk alone. Here you’ll find encouragement, support, and friendships that feel like family. Belonging means being known, prayed for, and welcomed as you are. Faith grows stronger when it grows together.

Becoming — Stepping Into Who God Created You to Be

We believe God has a purpose for every person. Becoming is about transformation. It’s about learning, serving, healing, and discovering the kind of life Jesus makes possible.

Through worship, service, study, discipleship, and community, we are learning to live more like Jesus and reflect His love in the world.

Meet Our Pastor

Phil Mills

Lead Pastor

Phil believes in Christ’s method of ministry—meeting people’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. As pastor of the Franktown Seventh-day Adventist Church, he combines his pastoral calling with his counseling training (M.A. in Counseling, pursuing licensure) to walk alongside people through life’s challenges with both biblical truth and compassionate care.

Whether through wellness programs, Bible studies, or gathering people around a meal, Phil sees the church as God’s hands and feet in the community. He and his wife, Lindsey, model this through their open home, where hospitality and prayer are constants as they raise their daughters, Chloe and Anna.

Phil’s passion: helping every believer discover their calling and every neighbor experience Christ’s transforming love.

Meet Our Team

The People Who Bring Our Mission to Life

Franktown Church is made up of volunteers, leaders, and ministry teams who believe in serving with joy. These are the people who greet at the door, teach our kids, organize community outreach, lead worship, run tech, support families, and help create the warm, welcoming environment our church is known for.

Every person on our team plays a part in helping our church live out its calling with purpose and love. Together, we serve because we believe every role matters and every person has been gifted by God to make a difference.
