Growing Together This Spring — Franktown Church
Pastor Phil Mills
A Note From
Pastor Phil Mills
“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” — John 4:35, NKJV

Something remarkable is happening at Franktown.

As I write this, we have over 60 active Bible studies taking place through our church family. Our Tuesday evening Unveiling Revelation series has drawn nearly 50 participants each week, digging deep into God’s prophetic Word verse by verse.

Members are inviting neighbors. Visitors are becoming family. People who came for a health seminar or a cooking class are now opening their Bibles and discovering the beauty of the three angels’ messages for themselves.

This is exactly what happens when a church follows Christ’s method — mingling with people, ministering to their needs, winning their confidence, and then bidding them to follow Him. Health and gospel are walking hand in hand, and the harvest is real.

We are only scratching the surface. God is opening doors faster than we can walk through them. That means we need every member engaged — not just attending, but actively serving. Whether it’s offering a Bible study, hosting a small group, or simply praying with intention, there is a place for you in this work.

Friends, the fields are white. Let’s not pull back now. Let’s press in, stay faithful, and watch what He does next.

With you in His service,
Pastor Phil Mills

Neighborhood Outreach Calendar

Practical ways to build Christ-centered relationships right where you live.

Monthly Neighborhood Outreach Calendar

Ministry doesn’t only happen at church — it happens across fences, on hiking trails, and over fresh bread shared with a neighbor.

Each month offers easy ideas for hospitality, connection, and shoulder-to-shoulder activities. The goal isn’t to do everything — just choose one intentional act each month and let God work through it.

“Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people.” — Ministry of Healing, p. 143

Let’s prayerfully ask: Who is God placing on my heart this month?

Attendance keeps climbing — 40 on opening night, 50 in Week 2, and 52 live on Zoom last Tuesday. And it doesn’t stop when the Zoom ends. People are going back and watching the recordings on YouTube throughout the week — catching what they missed, rewatching sections, and sharing the link with friends and family.

We’re seeing new faces every week. People are inviting their neighbors, their coworkers, their small group members. Our combined study time hit nearly 46 hours in a single Tuesday evening — and that’s before the YouTube views.

We’re going verse by verse through the entire book, and we’re only on Week 3 of 26. It is absolutely not too late to jump in.

Tuesdays at 6:00 PM on Zoom. Text PROPHECY to (719) 416-4446 to get the link, or visit the Unveiling Revelation Bible study page for details. Invite someone this week — you never know whose life it might change.

Mueller State Park camping

Escape to the Mountains

Franktown Church Family Camping Weekend

Imagine waking up to cool mountain air at nearly 10,000 feet. Through the trees, the morning sun warms the granite outcroppings of Pikes Peak. A campfire is already crackling. Someone’s making breakfast. The kids are out exploring.

Mueller State Park offers over 5,100 acres of meadows, aspen forests, and stunning mountain views — 50 miles of trails, abundant wildlife, and night skies far from city lights. We’ve reserved seven sites with 14 spots for tents and RVs.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork” — Psalm 19:1, NKJV

Spots are first come, first served. Don’t wait — these will fill fast.

Contact Sandy or scan the QR code on the church bulletin to reserve your spot.

Teams for Service — Wrapping Up!

As we move into this final month of our 13-week journey, we want to say how encouraged we are. What a blessing to see our church family not just talk about outreach — but practice it.

Throughout this last month, we will complete the remaining lessons and prayerfully reflect on what God has been building in us. Beginning April 1, we transition back to our regular class format: the adult Quarterly in the sanctuary, and Dr. Josh Long teaching Biblical Foundations.

Let’s finish strong together.

Thailand Mission Trip

Thailand Mission Trip

March 11–22 · Nong Boung SDA Church, Mae Sot

A dedicated team from our church will serve in Thailand, ministering to the community with a simple yet powerful mission: to share the love of Jesus in both word and action.

In this largely Buddhist region, physical needs are real and pressing — and when we care for the body, we open doors to minister to the heart. The team will provide medical and dental care, conduct daily home visits, lead Vacation Bible School for children, and hold evening gospel meetings.

Please pray for: safe travel and protection, the team’s health and strength, wisdom in ministering to physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, that the community will see Jesus through their actions, and that the Holy Spirit will prepare hearts even now.

Mission work changes everyone involved. Thank you for supporting this mission through your prayers.
